Float Registration
There is no charge associated with making an entry for the parade, but registration is requested! Tell us a little bit about your entry and we will be in touch with more instructions regarding staging for parade day! Businesses, Organizations, Clubs, Groups or Families all are welcome. Just remember to keep it family and community friendly.

Event Information
The 2025 Bowness Stampede Parade and Breakfast will take place on Saturday July 5, 2025.

The Breakfast will be served from 7:00AM-11:00AM (or while supplies last) in the parking lot of the 'Bowness Mall' where Bowness Pub, 7-11 & the Bowness Animal Hospital Reside. Come enjoy some pancakes, some live music & the community spirit. This event is free of charge, however as it is made possible entirely by the generosity of donations, we encourage you to donate to the event as a whole if you are in the position to do so.

The Parade will start at 9:00am at the Shouldice/Hextall Bridge entrance into Bowness. It will continue down Bowness Road, through Mainstreet, and will turn north on 77th Street to finalize at the Bowness Community Association. Bring your lawn chairs, or sit on the curb to enjoy this traditional small town style parade.

How can I be a part of this amazing event!?

VOLUNTEER! This event is not possible without lots of helping hands the day of the event! There are so many different volunteer opportunities, you are sure to find one that suits your style. If you want to participate in the full event, we suggest considering being a part of the set up or take down crew! If you want to be front and centre with the excitement consider flipping pancakes or a serving position (training and guidance provided). If you have children in tow and want prime seating for the parade, we suggest a road barricade monitor position! There is a job for everyone willing and it takes a village. Is there are charge to participate in this event?

NOPE! Participation is free of charge, thanks to all of the amazing event sponsors. There is no charge with participating in the breakfast or the to enter a parade float. We do request that if community members are able or willing that they consider signing up for a volunteer shift!

Who organizes the event?

The Bowness Lions Club has been the primary organizer of this historic event in the past. 2025 marks a mile-stone of the passing of the torch to a new group. The new 2025 Bowness Stampede Parade and Breakfast Organizing Committee is a mixture of dedicated community members which include individuals from the Bowness Lions Club, The Bowness Ratepayers Scout & Guide Hall, Local Businesses, and some exceptional and remarkable community individuals.
